We are back in rehearsal -- working hard on preparing for the season. I'm excited to report that our December concert "The Holiday Spectacular" will be chockful of premieres by company members Jojo Butler, Sarah Kelly Kerr and Onur Topal-Sumer, as well as my new work tentatively entitled "Blue Christmas". In the coming weeks, we'll also be working on a new school show, developing the "Community Dance" program, etc. etc.
Last month, I traveled around to the various government funding agencies - Georgia Council for the Arts, City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs and Fulton County Arts Council - and presented them with the big 'thank you' poster signed by our audiences. We deeply appreciate the support of these agencies!
