Sunday

Sunday began with a short foray to the street market in Correggio, where Onur scoured tents for bargains. I mostly worried about navigating the road--those aren't really even cobbles, they're riverstone, and the mortar's almost two cm down.

In more official news, we attended a wedding. The mass was held in a 900 year old church (discreetly updated on one side with sliding doors and a ramp). We performed at the reception, which was held at a rustic garden facility. Highlights: seeing the upstairs, where 30-year balsamic vinegar is made (and tasting it—wow), and narrowly escaping being pulled into a traditional Italian wedding dance (on grass!).
