Our bags are packed...

Or at least, getting that way. Traveling to perform requires extra packing, traveling in a chair even more so--and we can't count on having a CVS around the corner for bobby pins and WD-40. I'm just grateful I don't have to take multiple chairs on this trip--although there would be some reassurance in having a spare. Just in case.

Jojo's been stopping at random points in rehearsal for two weeks, looking around conspiratorially, and saying in a stage whisper, "Hey, guess what? We'll be in Italy in...". The punchline, though, is the manic grin followed by a few bounces for emphasis--sometimes accented with a few shrieks, which used to bring people to the door of the studio to make sure we were okay until they got used to it.

Anyway, the real point of this post--we promised to blog Italy. Here's a little preview of where we'll be:

  • arrive in Milan
  • perform in Bologna
  • perform at a wedding
  • workshops in Carpi
  • workshops in Focherini
  • Day Off! (rest of the company arrives)
  • press conference in Carpi
  • perform in Modena

We'll do our best to keep up--our hotel has wireless, which is a good start.
Until we start taking photos of our own, here's one to start off--the building on the right just might be where we're performing in Modena (more about that stage later):

I'm enjoying following you all on your wonderful trip. I know you are wowing audiences everywhere you go. Can't wait to read about the wedding...and your other performances at the festival. Tim
